The mission of Oasis Church of God of Prophecy is to meet the spiritual and social needs of the communities we are called to serve to make disciples for Christ.

The vision of Oasis Church of God of Prophecy is to be a place of refuge and restoration for all peoples where they may find a saving relationship with Christ and mutual, loving relationships with others.

Oasis is a welcoming and loving church. At Oasis, we seek to be a place of refuge during life’s difficult challenges. We seek to be a place of restoration where men, women, boys, and girls can be restored to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We also seek to be a place where meaningful relationships can be established among persons of every color, gender, and creed.

This local Church is a haven where hurting people can come and find life. That is the epitome of what an “OASIS” is!

Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary defines an oasis as “something that provides refuge, relief, or pleasant contrast.” In the same breath, the kid’s definition explains it as being “something or some place that provides refreshing relief.” Dictionary.com says it is “something serving as a refuge, relief, or pleasant change from what is usual, annoying, difficult, etc.”.

”A calm, pleasant place in the middle of somewhere busy and unpleasant…” is how Cambridge’s Online Dictionary defines oasis. One of Britannica Dictionary’s online definitions exclaims oasis is “a time or experience that is pleasant and restful“.

As our mantra claims, we are “A Place of Refuge, Restoration, and Relationships”!!!

During the Reunification process of Abba’s Love Church of God of Prophecy (#20 Gamle Gate) & Church of God of Prophecy (C5 Estate Hoffman), into Oasis COGOP, a competition took place for the design of Oasis’ logo. The winning design was created by Jeriah Gumbs.
